Unanimous decision: Mark E. Recktenwald is Hawaii&#;s next Chief Justice
HONOLULU&#;The Hawaii State Senate has unanimously confirmed Mark E. Recktenwald as the next Chief Justice of the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Recktenwald, 54, succeeds Chief Justice Ronald Moon to become Hawaii’s fifth Chief Justice.
He will serve an initial year term as the head of the State’s highest court, while overseeing the Hawaii Judiciary.
